I scored 150 points lower than my original practice test score on the March 24, 2014 SAT, which I took as a self-taught Bluebook student. I'm in 12th grade, so I was looking for a tutor on UPGRADE who could quickly help me with my SAT weaknesses in the EC and essay. Alice was able to immediately point out the vocabulary and evidence types that I was struggling with. Sean's SAT class was an experience that allowed me to really identify and fix my weaknesses that I had been ignoring. Wow, I got a 5 in just one month of preparation! AP Calculus BC was such a huge barrier for me as a struggling student and I was so confused about what I needed to study more and what problems I needed to work on for the May exam, but after meeting with Steve, I could see the flow of the questions and even predicted what was coming this year. I thought about studying at a cram school or self-studying until the end, but as an 11th grader, I felt that I needed to prepare for AP in a short period of time. I hope to graduate soon and give this kind of help to juniors like me in the future.

I felt like I was just going over the same material that I could have done on my own, and I didn't feel very efficient.
