Learn about recent changes to the SAT test and how U.S. colleges and universities are adapting to them.
While GPA is an important factor in admissions, the SAT and ACT are becoming increasingly important. In the past, the SAT had a long passage and many questions, which often caused students to burn out from reading, so the skill of getting to the heart of the question was important.
The new digital SAT is different in that it requires students to read quickly and identify themes and make connections, so students must constantly track and adapt to the changing passage to prepare for the SAT.
